  • Crafts fair

    Went to a Crafts fair this morning with Zina and some of our friends, we had a fun time.

    And Mike and I had to buy something for the women. April and Jessica.

    They are called Flippin Pennies. 10c a piece. Very stupid thing, but heck, can't say I didn't buy anything for you. Just a fluffball hot glued to a penny.

    Afterwards, we went to Chicken Express. Mike and I had to get a picture with the Chicken on the side of the road. I guess I shoulda asked him why he crossed the road.

  • Fireplace Insert is GONE!

    We all are looking for money these days. And were thinking about our fireplace and how we wanted to get rid of the Fireplace insert we never use. So I posted it on craigslist and it I got like 10 replys. Some good, some bad. I got what I asked for. $400!!!

    I know, it saves you money but its a pain to look at and to use. I want it out so we can have a nice looking fireplace that we might use in the future.

    The family came. This thing weighs almost 700 lbs.!! 4 strong guys couldnt even carry it. I had to run up to work to pick up a dolly and roller cart.

    The hardest part was getting it into the truck. Made a ramp with the dolly and 5 of us push it up inch by inch. But its gone and they gave me cash. WE ARE HAPPY! After many vet bills these past few months, our money is finally back in order.

    We already love the new look, the room looks so much bigger, and can't wait to put doors on the fireplace.

    Jessicas sister is in town this weekend. And we are headed to a crafts fair in the morning with some friends.

  • Halloween

    Well, Halloween. It marks the date that we moved into our house! One year ago on Halloween we moved in. Its been a great year here.

    Went to church tonight and Ed started a new series called "The End of the World". We had some friends come over and play some games with us. Also Carved pumpkins, drank margaritas and enjoyed a few laughs.

  • Our poor dog :-(

    Sorry that the only thing we post is our cute dog. But there is always something going on in Sydnies life. And today, was kinda ugly. But first the fun and the cute stuff.

    Come home and Sydnie is just sprawled out on the pourch, with her foot in her water bowl. This is normal everyday occurance. And notice she still has her racoon when she sleeps.

    Well, its been a long time since we have mentioned the mange. For all we knew, she had finally gotten over it. No more hair loss or bloody rashes. Over the last two weeks she had developed scabs on the back side of her cheeks and on her butt. We thought this might just be an allergies. The scabs on her cheeks have been getting bigger and bigger and she hasnt been scratching them at all. So today we were very curious to figure out what it was. Jessica took Sydnie to the vet. They tested for mange and they are all over her head. Bad news! The scabs on her butt and cheeks were infected and that is why they wernt going away. They had to take these huge scabs off. So discusting. Luckily it doesnt bother her at all. But we have all new medications to give Sydnie and hopefully in 6 weeks this will all clear up.

    They had to shave around the areas as well, but her long hair hides these areas. But this is her worst cheek. Very bad. She has this on her other cheek and on her butt. But again, she doesnt lick, scratch, or mess with those areas. So hopefully they will heal soon.

    Well, it doesn't slow her down, time to go walk our dog. Her nightly 2 mile walk.
